The project is estimated at $15,000,000 and is currently in the environmental clearance phase, which staff characterized as "lengthy but critical." City staff said procurement and construction will follow once environmental review is completed and promised to return with additional updates when that work is finished.
Council did not take immediate action on the report; the update was informational and intended to keep new council members and the public apprised of project staging and timing.
