Historical Society urged to file formal application after board rescinds prior grant authorization

Langford said the society will submit a formal application for funding targeted to the museum reopening and display needs.
Board members discussed whether the moratorium affects the depot: several members noted the depot is a city‑owned facility and indicated applications for city‑owned property should be considered separately. Counsel and staff asked the society to submit a formal application with details so staff can determine if it can proceed under the moratorium or be exempt as a city facility.
