Council approves renewals for 50+ liquor licenses for 2026–27, nine applicants must make corrections

The City of Cody council approved the annual renewal of retail, restaurant, bar & grill, limited retail and microbrewery liquor licenses for the 08/01/2026–07/31/2027 licensing period.
"We have received no comments from the public to date," Tina Gail, staff handling liquor renewals, told council during the public hearing. Gail said the city had received corrections from the state liquor division for nine applicants; those licenses "will not be issued to those entities until the corrections are made," and the applicants have until Aug. 31 to complete those fixes.
Councilmember Tamlin moved to approve the renewal package and Councilmember Sweatt seconded; the council approved the motion by voice vote. Staff said corrected applicants must satisfy the liquor-division requirements before the city issues the renewed licenses.
