Benbrook EDC holds Improvement Grant program funding at $100,000 for 2026–27

Director Ms. James said approximately $65,789 has been used year-to-date and named participating businesses including Math Around the Corner, Benbrook Stables and Ergo Kaleo Masonry, LLC. She also reminded the board that larger, more extensive property improvement grants would be returned to the board for case-by-case consideration.
The adopted budget lists $215,100 in total projects, of which the $100,000 improvement grant allocation is a part. No public comment was recorded on the program during the hearing.
