Following presentations and recognitions, the Bedford City Council approved the consent agenda (including routine minutes and an IT licensing renewal) and passed authorization for the police technology agreement. Council members summarized recent community events—an ice‑cream social at Carousel Park, Juneteenth festivities at Old Bedford School and upcoming Fourth of July events tied to the nation’s 250th anniversary.
Council member Farco reported that the animal shelter has moved operations to 201 West Euless Boulevard in Euless and asked residents not to drop strays at Bedford facilities. The council recessed into executive session under Texas Government Code section 551.071 and returned with no action to take. Mayor Dan Kogan adjourned the meeting at 8:06 p.m.
