The Amherst Community Improvement Corporation opened nominations and elected a slate of officers by acclamation on April 30, 2026. Members nominated a single candidate for each office: a member nominated Jennifer for president and the nominee accepted; Brian Dubinsky was nominated for vice president; Stephanie (surname given in nomination) was nominated for secretary; and Kelly Miller was nominated for treasurer. Each nominee was elected as the sole nominee by acclamation.
"And I will accept that nomination," the newly nominated president said after being recognized. A separate member offered public thanks to the outgoing officers, saying, "I just wanna thank our past officers. You've been tremendous on this board." The outgoing chair then relinquished the meeting to the newly elected president, and members remarked on the professionalism and organization provided by past officers.
The elections were handled during the meeting's procedural business and required no contested ballots; the board proceeded to other agenda items after the officers were installed.
