Accomack Launches Everbridge Emergency Notification; Residents Urged to Sign Up

Staff said the system has been used previously for localized hazards and that county employees may register through an employee category but that the service is open to the public at no cost.
Board members asked clarifying questions about public access and cost; staff confirmed the system is free for residents to join and reiterated instructions to re-register if previously on CodeRED.
