Laurens County commissioners voted to purchase two off-road vehicles at the May 5 meeting: a Honda CF Moto U 10 Pro for the Fire Department at $18,599 and a Polaris 570 Crew for the Airport at $15,250, a combined total of $33,849.
County Administrator Bryan Rogers told the board the vehicles are needed to assist in fighting wildfires and to support airport operations including spraying and pulling the sweeper.
