Tax & Zoning Director Stacey Swanson presented proposed amendments to the Billings County Zoning Ordinance covering campground regulations. The updates add definitions (campground, RV park, permanent campground, glamping campground), set a minimum area of five acres with density limits (and lower density for glamping), note state licensing triggers for three or more sites, and clarify parking requirements.
Commissioner Jim Haag moved to approve the ordinance amendments as presented; Commissioner Steven Klym seconded and the board voted unanimously. Swanson will publish the adoption notice and update application guidance and materials.
