Vernon County approves quitclaim deeds to sell two tax‑foreclosed parcels

The resolution states the county had not used or improved the parcel; proceeds will be distributed as designated by statute.
Supervisor Eggen moved adoption of Resolution 2024-46, seconded by Supervisor Kilmer; that resolution authorizes a quitclaim deed conveying parcel 010-00545-0002 (about three acres in the southwest corner of section 24, Town of Forest) to Keith Korbein for $12,400.00. The minutes record the parcel descriptions and say the county had not used, occupied, or improved either parcel prior to transfer.
Both resolutions were adopted by voice vote. The minutes include the legal descriptions and the sale prices; no further conditions or implementation timelines were recorded at the meeting.
County staff were authorized to sign quitclaim deeds and to distribute proceeds in accordance with statutory requirements.
