County leases Avalanche Farm — 20 acres to local farmers at $181 per acre

The lease requires adherence to NRCS and county conservation standards, nutrient management planning and maintenance of drainage and waterways; the tenant must file a certificate of liability insurance with the Land & Water Conservation Department.
The resolution authorizing the lease (2025-07) was adopted on a voice vote.
