County administrator reports Everbridge rollout, draft audit and DNR meetings; long-range planning noted

Administrative Coordinator Cassie Hanan provided operational updates to the board on June 19. She said the county is implementing Everbridge, an enhanced emergency-notification system; the county has received draft audit documents; a joint GenGov and Finance meeting is scheduled for July 2; Employee Appreciation Day is planned for Aug. 27; and the WCA conference is scheduled for Sept. 21–23.
Hanan also reported two recent DNR meetings (May 23 on compliance and airspace, and June 3 to discuss landfill feasibility). She thanked board members and department heads for attending the long-range planning event and noted the county’s re-branding effort is ongoing. Several administrative follow-ups were identified in the minutes for scheduling and budget tracking.
