The chair called the roll and recorded unanimous 'yes' votes from the members in attendance.
"Motion for executive session carries 9 to 0," the chair announced before recessing the meeting at 6:47 p.m. Staff reminded council that a unanimous vote is required for the economic-development portion of the executive session to protect an applicant's confidential information. The council recessed into executive session and said it would report any actions taken after returning to open session.
