Council reviews refreshed city seal art and will consider ordinance to update codified image

Council discussed minor elements including an added star at the bottom and whether to spell out "January" on the seal; staff will provide side-by-side samples with 'January' spelled out in the Monday packet. Because the city seal is codified in the ordinances, staff recommended the matter proceed as an ordinance (council may consider waiving the second reading to expedite sign ordering). The item was moved to Monday for final action.
