Administrative Coordinator Cassandra Hanan updated the board on several administrative items. She said, "Starting Jan 1st all Committee and Board meetings will be recorded and posted on the website," and noted the county’s new website will also go live on Jan. 1. Hanan reported the management agreement for Vernon Manor with BSJ began Dec. 2 and that the management transition went smoothly; the transcript does not expand the BSJ acronym.
Hanan also reported the Flood Mitigation Alliance held its first meeting, that David Hettenbach will begin as County Conservationist Jan. 6, and that the county will begin round two of the finance director recruitment on Jan. 2 with Public Administration Associates. She distributed a 2024 accomplishments and 2025 goals list and encouraged the Board to view department door decorations.
