The Vernon County Board adopted Resolution 2024-60 to reallocate $115,976.77 in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to county staff wages and benefits so contractual obligations meet the Dec. 31, 2024 deadline. Administrative Coordinator Cassandra Hanan said some previously committed allocations were not contractually obligated and needed to be adjusted to comply with ARPA reporting requirements.
Motion by Supv Pedretti, seconded by Supv Slack, to “adopt Resolution 2024-60” carried on a voice vote. The resolution directs the transfer of $115,976.77 of ARPA funding to wages and benefits and authorizes the transfer to occur on or before Dec. 31, 2024.
