Chair Don Gentile and Commissioner Kirk Mansfield suggested moving the patio further from the pond, planting native trees closer to the water (the applicant proposed a Glory Swamp Red Maple), and using pervious patio materials; Cademartori suggested taller woody shrubs to deter geese. The applicant confirmed he intends to replace a damaged dock, and staff reminded him a new dock would require a separate filing and a Select Board license. The Commission indicated it needed additional information before making a determination.
