President Duane Urbanski told the Finance Committee that a quote was provided to move the village backup server into the DPW building so DPW personnel would have direct access to the shared drive and enhanced laptop security. Clerk/Treasurer Stephanie Waala described a second quote for the Wastewater Treatment Plant to let on-call personnel access plant computers and alarm systems remotely via virtual login, avoiding in-person trips to the plant. Waala said the office-equipment budget does not currently have sufficient funds for the Wastewater IT purchase, and Member Rachel Fuller asked that staff consider adding funding in the 2027 budget.
