The Manistee County Ways & Means Committee recommended approval of on-demand checks, ACH payments and payroll totaling $2,405,923.73 at its Jan. 7 meeting. Finance Officer Susan Zielinski told the committee the packet included printed-check totals of $870,285.68, ACH payments of $814,767.97 (combined on-demand/ACH $1,685,053.65) and payroll for the period of $720,870.08, which together produced the $2,405,923.73 grand total presented for acceptance.
"The totals are as follows," Susan Zielinski stated in the meeting packet and presentation materials that the committee reviewed. Chairperson Jeffrey Dontz moved to recommend acceptance of the documentation and payments; Commissioner Eric Gustad seconded. The motion was recorded as passing by unanimous voice vote: "Ayes: All. Absent: None."
