The Green Team packet and presenter noted a Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) meeting scheduled for Jan. 9, 2026 to review incoming bids for a three-year contract. Committee members were informed that bid review is the near-term procurement step for HHW services.
In the same report Karla Smith-Kasten thanked the Manistee County Conservation District and recorded that the recent tire event collected 2,354 tires. That figure appeared in Appendix A and was presented to illustrate recent collection activity and community engagement; no follow-up motions were recorded at the Jan. 7 meeting.
