County poised for East River shared-use path if federal funds come through; county share estimated $636,000

"I estimated those dollar amounts in here, which should be a total of 636,000," the presenter said when describing the county's expected responsibilities. The presenter added the overall construction estimate for the full project was about $2,000,000. Temporary easement problems required design revisions and a rebid in May; staff anticipates potential grant award results in May and advised the commission of the timeline and options if federal funding is not available.
The commission acknowledged the presentation and directed staff to continue grant follow-up and reimbursement request filings as work on preliminary engineering continues.
