During public comment, resident Normie Valencela asked the council to explore bringing a mobile/pass support service to La Habra like one he described at a May 16 event at Savannah High School in nearby Anaheim. "They've got a little shuttle where they get teachers, pass support, everything done there, and you will receive the pass support within 2 to 3 weeks," Valencela said, asking the council to consider making the service available to La Habra residents who do not drive.
Valencela provided his address and urged the council to investigate whether the city could partner to host the support service locally. The request was noted during the public-comment period; staff did not indicate an immediate decision during the meeting.
