DeSoto council proclaims building-safety and mental-health months, honors public-works staff and student ambassador

Building Official Andrew Lipscomb and Development Services staff were thanked for code and permitting work; Operations Manager Wade Williams reported a 93% completion rate for street and traffic service requests with an average response time of three days.
Mayor Proctor introduced student ambassador Harmony Flood of DeSoto High School and praised her leadership; council and staff presented recognition to building- and public-works teams and encouraged residents to participate in safety and mental-health awareness activities.
