During the Superintendent’s Report the board heard several program updates: Safety City served approximately 30 children and covered stranger danger, 911 use, water safety at the Francis Family YMCA, bike, fire and bus safety; Deputy Rollins participated and planning for next year is underway.
Academic highlights included several AP Chemistry students scoring 3 or higher and some students achieving 3+ in the district’s first year of AP Physics; one student took the AP Biology exam and scored a 5 without having taken AP Biology. Summer school was scheduled for July 21 through August 14, 2025. The minutes also record a $100 cash donation from Kelli Tuller to the Summer Engagement Program. In operations, the pool filter was repaired and Leidel was painting paneling near the high school cafeteria.
These items were presented as informational reports; no formal board action was required for the updates recorded in the minutes.
