CORP update: goals, park matrix and 17 survey responses so far

Committee staff and planners updated the Joint Beautification/Lake, Parks, and Recreation Committee on the Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (CORP) on June 9. Karen Schmitz said she compiled goals, objectives, and a park-by-park matrix listing issues, opportunities, and recommended actions to guide the CORP. Lydia Bernhoft, environmental planner with the Bay Lake Regional Planning Commission, reported 17 survey responses to date and noted the majority of respondents live in Random Lake.
Planner Bernhoft also reported that a workshop flyer has been created and updated to support upcoming outreach. The committee moved the CORP item earlier in the agenda to accommodate related park updates.
