Tax Director Kim Savage and Tax Assessor Rory Porth presented abatements and Primary Residence Credit applications for mobile homes and trust-held properties for tax year 2024. The board approved three individual Primary Residence Credit refunds on recommendation of the Tax Director and, in a separate grouped motion, approved a larger set of parcel refunds (dozens of parcel numbers listed in the minutes) with Commissioners Hollekim, Olson and Ruland voting yes and Commissioner Rice recorded as abstaining on the grouped motion.
The action cited Senate Bill 2201 as the basis for eligibility determinations for primary residence credits and the minutes show the board followed the Tax Director’s recommendation for all approved parcels. The board’s roll-call approvals were recorded in the official minutes.
