Greg Field of KC Sign Company presented a courtesy review for a two‑part LED message board sign to be installed in front of Roxbury Engine Company (Fire Company #2) at 110 Shippenport Road. Field said the sign would be an internally illuminated header cabinet reading “Roxbury Engine Company” with a programmable LED message board below, for a total height of 7 feet 4 inches. "The sign would be used for community and fire company‑related messaging including events, fundraisers, emergency information, and volunteer recruitment," Field said.
Mr. Keys of Fire Company #2 told the board the sign would be funded entirely by the fire association at no cost to the township. Planner Massiel Medina‑Ferrara recommended issuing the permit in the fire company’s name, displaying the street address on the sign base, and coordinating brightness settings with the Planning and Zoning department and Department of Public Works prior to installation. The Board had no objections and advised the applicant to obtain a zoning permit through the Planning and Zoning Office; no formal board action was required.
