Cynthia Boone presented the EDA’s financial report for the year ending Dec. 31, 2025. The public fund beginning balance was reported as $1,150,147.76; disbursements totaled $1,101.18; interest earned was $9.76; and the ending balance was $1,149,056.34. For the Market 5 public fund (lease payments), deposits totaled $2,500, with an ending balance of $18,260.
The Board approved the financial report unanimously. Travis Johnston asked about moving some Authority funds into a higher-yield account; Ms. Boone confirmed $100,000 is currently held in a VIP account and said bank representatives will attend the Feb. 5 meeting to discuss options for the Board to consider. "Representatives are scheduled to attend the February 5 meeting to discuss the account and potential future options," Ms. Boone said.
