Traill County adopts pledge-of-assets resolution naming county depositories and pledged amounts

Treasurer Carla Swanson presented the county’s Pledge of Assets report for the year ending Dec. 31, 2025. The board adopted a resolution naming banks as depositories and approving pledged-asset amounts by unanimous vote of Commissioners Eblen, Elliott, Nesvig, Young and Amb.
The resolution lists pledged amounts by bank: Goose River Bank—$1,421,201.48; Aspire Bank—$1,088,717.06; First State Bank—$1,363,636.36; and Dakota Heritage Bank—$5,261,942.61. The adoption authorizes the Treasurer to hold additional county deposits in excess of FDIC coverage up to the pledged amounts noted on the report.
