Mountrail County Commissioners approved a set of personnel actions and classifications at their Jan. 7 meeting. Actions recorded in the minutes include: a salary increase for Deputy Zachary Bristol to $32.45 per hour ($67,500 per year); promotion for Christine Juma (Recorder) to Chief Deputy II at $38.87/hr ($80,859/yr); banding/grading change for Tamra Leupp (Facilities Manager) to $41.98/hr ($87,322/yr); regular full‑time classification for Randi Petras (Family Service Specialist I) at $28/hr ($58,240/yr); promotion of Kimberly Savage to Tax Director at $42.73/hr ($88,888/yr); and promotion for Tyrell Thiessen (Road & Bridge Road Supervisor) to $40.72/hr ($84,703/yr). All motions passed by roll call with the five commissioners voting yes.
The personnel approvals were presented as individual motions and recorded with pay rates and annual salary equivalents. The changes affect staffing and pay scales across the Sheriff’s Office, Recorder, Facilities, Tax Director position and Road & Bridge and will be reflected in upcoming payroll and budget records.
