The board also approved a separate construction‑engineering agreement with HDR Engineering for $709,515; all motions passed on unanimous roll call.
Engineer Jana Hennessy presented bid results and the board moved quickly to accept the low bid and sign the construction contract and engineering agreement. The meeting minutes record that the motions were moved by Commissioner Wayne Olson and seconded by Commissioner John DeGroot and that the motions carried with Ruland, Rice, Olson, Hollekim and DeGroot voting yes.
