CIP, Conservation and Select Board updates noted; Solar Ordinance deferred to July 22

During committee reports the Board heard a brief update from Mr. Scott Severn that the CIP Committee is updating its spreadsheet and will meet with the Police Chief on July 14 to review police capital needs. The Board also discussed CIP bylaws and confirmed CIP is a subcommittee of the Planning Board.
Ms. Donna Sullivan said the Conservation Commission will not meet in August and that Resilience Planning will attend the September meeting to finalize Chapter V of the Master Plan. Mr. Severn reported the Select Board has hired a new Library Director, the highway department is seeking a new backhoe, and the Budget Committee will hold an all-day meeting on October 13. Earlier in the meeting, discussion of the proposed Solar Ordinance was deferred to the July 22 meeting.
