The Fire and Police Commission on July 31, 2025 unanimously approved a resolution appointing Justin S. Mcminneman to a firefighter position.
FPC Executive Director Leon Todd read agenda item FPC 212170, describing it as a resolution relating to the appointment of Justin S. Mcminneman to the firefighter position. Commissioner Snyder asked if any commissioners had questions before taking action.
Chief Lipsky spoke in support of the appointment, saying he was "extremely favorable to this item" and that it "goes a long way to, first, correct, and I think it's just the right thing to do." After a motion and second, the chair conducted a roll-call vote in alphabetical order. Commissioners Burgos, Evans, Fung, Spence, and Chair Snyder each voted "aye," and the motion carried unanimously.
No members of the public were in the virtual queue to comment on the appointment. The director indicated the agenda was concluded and the commission adjourned the special meeting the same day.
The resolution text and the effective date of the appointment were not specified on the record.
