District administrators told the Mason Consolidated Schools Board of Education on Oct. 1 that voters in Monroe County will be asked in May 2026 to renew the district's longstanding Technology Millage, which funds teaching and learning technology and equipment. The superintendent emphasized the millage has been a cornerstone of classroom technology support.
At the same meeting the board approved the purchase of 25 Apple iPads and cases for the elementary school at a cost of $25,373.75 to be paid from Technology Enhancement Millage funds. The board approved the procurement on a 4-0 vote.
