Daggett County OKs event and advertising contracts for 2026 rodeo and billboards
Summary
Commissioners approved a Purchase Order and contract with Broken Heart Rodeo Company for the Cow Country Rodeo and accepted a state-contract billboard advertising agreement with YESCO to promote county events.
Jordynn Hewitt presented contracts for events and advertising and said the county planned to use Broken Heart Rodeo Company for the Cow Country Rodeo. Attorney Kent Snider reviewed the contract prior to the vote. Commissioner Randy Asay moved to approve the Purchase Order and Contract with Broken Heart Rodeo Company; Commissioner Matt Tippets seconded the motion and it carried.
Staff also proposed billboard advertising under a state contract with YESCO to support county events throughout the year. Jordynn Hewitt presented the YESCO option, Attorney Kent Snider reviewed the state contract, and Commissioner Tippets moved to approve the Purchase Order and Contract with YESCO; the motion carried. The rodeo contract is recorded at SEG 030–SEG 031 and the YESCO billboard approval at SEG 032–SEG 034.
