Finance presenter Mister Klein summarized the city's financial performance for the year ended June 30, 2026, reporting a General Fund cash balance of $29,825,000, revenues of $60,020,000 and expenditures of $55,979,000, producing an overall favorable benchmark variance of $4,041,000.
Klein told council that while most year‑end activity is closed, a small number of accruals will be booked when auditors arrive in October and that some entries may be reflected through December audit work. Council members asked about the expected fund‑balance transfer to reserves; Klein said accruals will be booked in June and the fund balance entry will then be made when auditors complete their work.
