Resident Lewis Pawn questions $100,000 public‑services request in Greer budget

He told the council he reviewed prior workshops and could not find a mention of a deficiency study or new request and urged transparency on the item.
City Administrator Merriman and council members acknowledged the concern and invited staff to follow up through the regular budget process and the administrator's office. The statement prompted no formal action that evening but the council agreed staff should provide more detail in follow‑up materials.
