Commission member outlines plan for Conservation Commission Facebook page

Mr. Shaun Lagueux told the Commission he has not yet accessed Town offices to set up a Facebook page but described a plan to rotate content monthly around specific conservation properties, starting with Bennett Wetlands. He said he has photographs to share and proposed regular posts every few weeks, inviting public photographs, historic information and comments to increase engagement and potentially support member recruitment.
Chair Batchelder noted he has spoken with Rosemary Darcy, who may be interested in joining the Commission. Mr. Lagueux said he will follow up with the Land Use office to arrange page setup and will consult the Highway Department about how that Department administers its page and monitors content.
