The Henry County Commission approved Resolution 1-11-25 on Nov. 17, authorizing a series of budget transfers in the county General Fund for fiscal 2025–26. The resolution adds $54,683 to revenue account 46980 'Other State Grants' to record a State and Local Cybersecurity Grant and increases data-processing equipment spending in the Clerk & Master budget by the same amount.
The packet and meeting record also show the Emergency Management line was increased by $228,226.85 to purchase additional radio repeaters funded by HC 911. The Commission moved $40,000 from unappropriated fund balance into employee medical insurance to cover higher-than-expected premiums for January–June. Commissioner Kenneth Humphreys moved the resolution; Commissioner Marty Visser seconded. The roll call shows the motion carried with 15 commissioners recorded as voting in favor.
