Council approves multiple public-works projects, DOT agreements and green infrastructure grants

One listing noted an estimated total project cost of $5,363,500 with an expected city share and grantor contributions; other project adjustments showed cost decreases and city-share increases on large projects.
The committee also recommended acceptance of a Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District grant for permeable pavers installation on South 9th Street and post-installation maintenance covenants. The Public Works report (with the exception of one held item) was adopted by roll call (14 ayes, 1 excused). Council members asked clarifying questions about construction cost estimates, funding sources and the city share on several projects.
