David Weber, Comanche County Jail Administrator, told the Facilities Authority on Jan. 12 that the detention center had "a count of 212 inmates" as of Jan. 9, 2026, comprised of 166 males and 46 females.
Weber said 13 inmates were "ready to go to DOC" and that 13 had been transferred to the Oklahoma Department of Corrections during the week. He also reported that "as of today, there are 220 inmates at CCDC, 117 inmates at other counties, for a combined total of 337." The figures indicate movement between local and other-county facilities and show both a point-in-time count and a broader combined total used by the administrator to describe system load.
The authority did not undertake any new policy action during the meeting based on the report; the figures were entered into the record as part of Weber’s weekly update. Members in attendance were Johnny Owens (Chair), Ryan John (Vice-Chair) and Josh Powers (member). No public comments were offered during the meeting.
