Rutland Free Clinic mobile van to serve Wallingford; Tinmouth committee will share information

At the May 22 meeting Sherry reported that the Rutland Free Clinic is launching a mobile health van that will be parked in Wallingford once a month to provide adult health screenings and paperwork assistance.
"The Rutland free clinic... they're gonna start having a mobile van down in Wallingford. I think it's once a month where people can get... screening and different health things," Sherry reported. Committee members discussed posting notices on Front Porch Forum, forwarding Wallingford newsletter items to Tinmouth contacts, and, when needed, helping residents get to the van (or to Middletown Springs) while recognizing transport limits for a small town.
Members noted the van will be parked by the Wallingford thrift store for visibility and that the service can assist with diabetes screening and help with paperwork for other services. The committee agreed to re-post announcements locally and consider volunteer support for residents who need transportation.
