Members also raised whether the proposal could interfere with existing communication systems (for example, public‑safety radio), asked whether the tower was a line‑of‑sight system and where other towers would be located, and whether the town should allow public comment at its own meeting.
Board members agreed to run the joint session and to collect the planning commission's questions so the town can either combine its response or prepare a joint letter.
