Kapler elected chair, Robinson elected vice chair; Hansen agrees to another term

The Board held officer elections at the start of its Jan. 5 meeting. Denise Pavlovich nominated Dr. Lisa Kapler for chair; Dr. Scott Hansen seconded the nomination and the minutes record the motion as carried 3-0. Joanne Robinson won the vice chair position in a recorded 3-2 vote after nominees included both Denise Pavlovich and Joanne Robinson. The Board also recorded that Dr. Scott Hansen agreed to serve another three‑year term on the Board of Health.
The elections were conducted by motion and recorded in the meeting minutes; final leadership positions will take effect immediately for Board duties.
