Home Health reports no new infection trends; DIAL survey expected

Gail Arjes, Floyd County Public Health/Home Health Care, updated the Board on Home Health operations and readiness for the agency's three-year DIAL survey. Arjes reported the current census was reviewed and that the DIAL survey was expected "any time" for the agency’s three‑year review. She stated no new infection trends have been seen but that staff will undergo abuse training and infection-prevention training this month; high flu and COVID rates across Iowa may increase caseloads this winter.
The Board received the update with no action required. Members were reminded that evaluations of the Public Health administrator are available to submit and will be kept on file.
