Jessy Willadsen, Floyd County Environmental Health, reviewed the FY2026 budget through November 2025: expenditures totaled $55,350.27 with $93,071.73 remaining, representing 37.29% of budget spent with 41.67% of the fiscal year complete. Willadsen reported no budget concerns at this time.
Willadsen also summarized operational activity for the Nov. 17, 2025–Jan. 2, 2026 period: the department conducted 72 well water tests and performed one septic installation inspection, spent time on a dog bite investigation, researched ordinance amendments, and worked on the 1539 Rock Grove abandoned property petition. The Board received this report with no action required.
