Board of Health refers E911 department head wage request to Board of Supervisors

Joanne Robinson said wages should be tied to performance evaluations and job duties; in response, Jennifer Solomon suggested BOH members visit her office to better understand daily responsibilities. After discussion, Joanne Robinson moved to refer the wage decision back to the Board of Supervisors with a recommendation that input be included from all three governing bodies; Denise Pavlovich seconded and the motion carried (all members present voted aye as recorded).
The minutes record the referral as the Board's formal step because the BOH does not solely fund the position. The referral asks the Board of Supervisors to consult the E911 Board and the Board of Health before making a final determination on compensation.
