Inspector: Lack of Metrc access and incomplete manifests prevented full records review

Jessica Lopez told the hearing that Metrc access is essential to complete the business-records portion of an inspection. ‘‘I will have them go from the date that I'm there back 6 months, and pull up the report,’’ Lopez said, explaining that Metrc harvest and transfer reports show harvest, waste and transfer history needed to verify manifests and invoices.
Lopez said the records shown at the August visit were largely from 2024 and that on September 2 staff produced a disorganized set of manifests and invoices that matched only nine records. She said incomplete waste logs and hand-written notes without dates could not be accepted as verifiable records. Licensee Ivan Garcia said he had provided receipts from a certified installer and would work to give his shop manager Metrc access and additional training.
