O'Brien County board names Barbara Rohwer chair, Nancy McDowell pro-tem for 2025

The O'Brien County Board of Supervisors convened Jan. 2, 2025, and appointed Barbara Rohwer as Chairperson for 2025 and Nancy McDowell as Chairperson Pro-Tem. The motion to appoint Rohwer was moved by Friedrichsen and seconded by Vanden Hull; the motion to appoint McDowell pro-tem was moved by Vanden Hull and seconded by Thomas. Both motions carried by all ayes.
The new leadership appointments were part of routine organizational actions at the first meeting of the year. The board also approved the proceedings of Dec. 17 and Dec. 23, 2024 during the same session. No objections to the appointments or minutes were recorded in the proceedings.
