During the consent agenda the board approved administrative changes: Hannah Simmons, Assistant Purchasing Agent, was named a purchase-cardholder with a $10,000 limit effective Jan. 12, 2026; existing county cardholders listed were Purchasing Agent Lynn Bentley and Melissa Womack from District 1. The minutes state all cardholders had completed required OSU County Training.
The commissioners also authorized Ashley Taylor and Corinne Owensby to use the Board of County Commissioners’ signature stamps on BOCC documents for consent-agenda items (excluding contracts and agreements) and allowed the county clerk and bookkeeping staff to use the stamps for consent items. Separately, District #2 was approved to apply for eligibility to receive federal surplus property under 41 CFR 101-44.207 through OMES.
